This board will dictate the age ratings of films and other works such as music videos. This ensures that the public guidelines are put in place for viewing restrictions so that younger people will not see films that are inappropriate to them. This means that producers will have to put things in the song or film that is appropriate to the target audience. MCPS: Mechanical Copyright Protection System (PRS for music) This is a society is an organisation of collective rights for musical works. They began in anticipation of the copyright act 1911 and merged with the copyright protection society in 1924. They will administer the rights of about 10 million musical works and ensures legal protection for them against unfair use.
